Lets talk experience. As I browse a lot of our competitor’s web sites I see them post banners that say “Our experienced staff”, “15 years worth of Experience”. I can’t help but notice what a flat out lie most of these other web sites are stating (I know a lot of the other sites and how they got started).

I have been working at SAKWorldPaintball.com Since 1998, actually selling products and playing. I stated playing about 6-8 times a year in 1994. I have seen it all from pumps, to Angel LEDs. My very first gun was a Brass Eagle Cobra, followed by a Razor Back Pump, Tippmann .68 Special (their first non belt fed .68 semi). I have also had a ICD Puma, Tippmann Mini Lite, and a PMI Tracer. In that era. My Brother still has and still sports a Sheridan VM-EXC 68(weights about 15 Lbs). A neighbor of mine purchased the first Spyder model Kingman came out with.

I have seen companies like Smart Parts, and DYE come out with their first products and grow into multi million dollar manufacturing firms with hundreds of employees. In both case I have owned their original products, Smart Parts All American barrel, I owned one in Brass for Automag, and a Stainless Steel All American for my Puma. I still own the original Dye Boomstick for a cocker, and still play with it.

I remember the day when people actually played with a 48oz (if memory serves they were big tanks) CO2 tank, and I also remember the day when someone wheeled a bulk 50lb Nitrogen Tank to our field for the first time. Now all the fields have air compressors for compressed air tanks.

Through the years I have seen companies rise and fall. There was a time where all of paintball was ruled by the Air Guns Design Automag, and a Worr Games Autococker (both retailed for $400 ish at their peak for base models). Now do to paintball gun design advancements their guns have faded into the dust.

The point of this article is be wary of your local paintball store or another online store boasting experience. There are a lot of people that say they have been in the sport for years that really haven’t and don’t have the experience of it. I and other guys here at SAK World have gained product experience from simply being neck deep into the sport for so long. We have personally witnessed paintball technology and products evolve threw the years. We understand the theory behind the products and why they have evolved. From the almost beginning we have had our hands in paintball. Our experience is second to none, which is why we encourage our customers to take advantage of it. Don’t just take someone’s advise. Have them explain it to you.

Are you new to Paintball? Have you played once or twice at a local field and are now hooked on it? Have you decided to buy your own paintball gear so your not throwing money away renting? Well if so make sure you ask questions first before you buy anything. We’re here to help!

Purchasing new paintball equipment can get a little confusing. Some common questions are “Should I get CO2 or N2?”, “Is that good with my gun?” and more important, “Is it worth it?”. Whether you email our sales department to ask a question or call Tony our telephone sales guy, we are here to make sure your questions get answered and you get the right paintball equipment.

We take pride in not selling people paintball products that they might not need or want. We also realize that paintball is expensive, so we want you to ask to make sure the products your thinking about ordering suit your needs and is your best bet for performance, compatibility and cost effectiveness. So if your new to paintball or just want to bounce an idea off us, we are here to help. Our experience and advise is free to all our customers, so why not ask us first?!

The long awaited (about 2 years) Macdev paintball barrel kits have finally arrived. Macdev is a small manufacturing firm based out of Austraila. They made their claim to fame by developing the Cyborg paintball marker and then the Conquest Air System. The Macdev has enjoyed an ever growing “cult” following by producing very high end paintball products at a midlevel price.

In 2005 they came out with their Matchstik barrel kits which was top grade barrel kit at an entry level price. Due to machine time limitation they finally, after about a year of not making any, redesigned and released the Matchstik kits for 2007. MSRP is $140 on these kits. You can check them out here http://www.sakworldpaintball.com/matchstik.html
