Planet Eclipse has informed us that they have discontinued the Etek2 Star Frame for 2009.  The Star Frame was a upgrade Frame/Board for the Etek2/Etek Paintball guns.  They included a new electronic control board with a software upgrade.  Eclipse hasn’t said is they were going to put the upgraded software in the stock Etek2 boards, however they did say they will have a new version of the Star Frame out in 2010.

Currently we only have about 20 Gold Star frame left.  So if you are looking for a new Star frame for your Etek or if you were going to take advantage of the $50 star frame with new Etek2 purchase, now would be the time to do it!
